For this renovation, the client wanted a moody, dark bathroom that would feel sleek and modern, but warm. Other requests were: - large hydromassage bath tub; - built in shelves for shower products; - soft lighting for night shifts that won't wake the brain up completely; - a sense of spaciousness and cozyness at the same time.
BEFORE
We had reached a design that wouldn fit all the elements without moving any walls or doors, but one important aspect for the client was to feel like the bathroom wa spacious and not crammed. So the ideal solution was to move the built in closet to another wall in the bedroom, expand the ensuite and, since we were already taking rebuilding the wall, we moved the entrance door to the middle, in order for it to not be partially blocked by the sink.
